Votee is designed to operate entirely offline. All data is stored locally on your device using your device's local storage system. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device:

• Apartment ID: A unique identifier you provide to distinguish your apartment unit for voting purposes. This is stored only on your device.
• Poll Data: Poll questions, options, votes, and results created within the app. This includes polls you create (if using Admin Mode) and polls you vote on.
• Admin Mode Setting: A local preference indicating whether Admin Mode is enabled on your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Any data transmitted to external servers

1.3 Use of Data

All data stored in Votee is used solely for the app's core functionality:

• To enable voting on polls within your apartment community
• To prevent duplicate votes from the same apartment ID
• To display poll results and history
• To manage Admin Mode functionality for poll creation

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, analytics, or any other purpose beyond the app's core voting functionality.

1.4 Data Sharing

Votee does not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties. All data remains on your device and is never sent to external servers, cloud services, or third-party services.

1.5 Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, data security depends on your device's security measures. We recommend:

• Keeping your device's operating system updated
• Using device lock screen protection
• Being cautious when sharing your device with others

If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data will be deleted from your device.

1.6 Data Retention

Data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can clear all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data through your device settings.

1.7 Children's Privacy

Votee is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since our app operates entirely offline and does not collect personal information, this is not applicable to our current functionality.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

Votee does not display advertisements and does not integrate with any third-party advertising or analytics services. The app uses only essential Flutter framework components and local storage functionality.

Votee does not use cookies, web beacons, or any tracking technologies. The app operates entirely offline and does not access the internet.

By downloading, installing, or using Votee, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2.2 App Usage

Votee is provided for use by apartment residents to facilitate democratic decision-making within their communities. You agree to:

• Use the app only for legitimate voting and decision-making purposes
• Provide accurate apartment identification information
• Vote only once per poll per apartment unit
• Respect the voting process and results
• Use Admin Mode responsibly when creating polls

2.3 User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and the app
• Ensuring your apartment ID is accurate and unique
• Using the app in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempting to manipulate voting results or circumvent the one-vote-per-apartment restriction
• Respecting the privacy and rights of other apartment residents

2.4 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or modify the app
• Create polls that are discriminatory, harassing, or violate any laws

2.5 Limitation of Liability

Votee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• The app will meet your specific requirements
• Voting results are binding or legally enforceable

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the app.

2.6 App Ownership

Votee, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by the app developers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without explicit permission.

2.7 Data Ownership

You own all data you create within the app (polls, votes, etc.). This data is stored locally on your device and is under your control. You may delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

2.8 Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms & Conditions.

2.9 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
