RentManager - Property Manager ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data Collection

RentManager is a fully offline application. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers or cloud services.

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Property Information: Property names, addresses, rent amounts, deposits, sizes, amenities, and status
• Tenant Information: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, property assignments, and emergency contacts
• Contract Details: Start dates, end dates, rent amounts, deposits, and payment schedules
• Payment Records: Payment amounts, dates, status, methods, and monthly records
• Expense Records: Expense categories, amounts, dates, descriptions, and property associations

We do NOT collect:

• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Personal information transmitted to external servers
• Cookies or web tracking technologies

3. Use of Data

All data you enter into RentManager is stored exclusively on your device using local database storage (SQLite). This data is used solely to:

• Manage your rental properties and tenant information
• Track payments and expenses
• Generate reports and export data (when you choose to do so)
• Display local notifications for contract renewal reminders

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. Your data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers, cloud services, or third-party analytics providers.

The App includes functionality to export data (such as CSV files and reports) that you can choose to share using your device's native sharing capabilities. This sharing is entirely under your control and occurs only when you explicitly initiate it.

5. Local Notifications

RentManager uses local notifications to remind you about upcoming contract renewals. These notifications are generated and stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your notification data, and notifications are not transmitted to any external service.

6. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Your data is protected by your device's built-in security measures
• We recommend using device-level security features such as screen locks, biometric authentication, and encryption
• If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be deleted from your device
• We recommend regularly backing up your device to preserve your data

7. Children's Privacy

RentManager is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since our App does not collect any data externally, this policy serves as a precautionary measure.

8. Third-Party Services

RentManager does not integrate with third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or cloud storage providers. The App operates entirely offline and does not require internet connectivity to function.

The App uses the following open-source libraries for core functionality:

• SQLite database for local data storage
• Local notification services for reminders
• File sharing capabilities (only when you choose to export data)

9. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your information:

• You can view, edit, or delete any data at any time within the App
• You can export your data using the App's export features
• You can delete all data by uninstalling the App
• You can back up your data using your device's backup features

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

3. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the accuracy of all information you enter into the App
• Maintaining the security of your device and any exported data
• Backing up your data regularly to prevent data loss
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding property management and data privacy
• Using the App in a lawful manner and not for any illegal purposes

4. Data Accuracy and Liability

RentManager is provided as a management tool to assist with organizing rental property information. The App does not:

• Verify the accuracy of information you enter
• Provide legal, financial, or tax advice
• Guarantee compliance with local rental laws or regulations
• Process actual payments or financial transactions

You are solely responsible for verifying all information, complying with applicable laws, and making informed decisions based on the data in the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for any data loss, whether due to device failure, accidental deletion, or other causes
• We are not responsible for any financial losses, legal issues, or other consequences resulting from your use of the App

6. App Availability

While we strive to provide a reliable application, we do not guarantee that RentManager will be available at all times or free from errors. The App may be subject to:

7. Intellectual Property

RentManager - Property Manager, including its design, features, and functionality, is the property of its developers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal or business property management needs.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the App for any commercial resale or redistribution purposes

8. Data Export and Backup

The App provides features to export your data in various formats (CSV, text reports). You are responsible for:

• Regularly exporting and backing up your data
• Securing any exported files
• Understanding that uninstalling the App will delete all locally stored data

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting an updated version. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using RentManager at any time by uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the App at any time without prior notice.
