Privacy Policy — Introduction

NOVA HR (“the App”) is a mobile workforce and human-resources companion for employees. It connects to a server address and account credentials that your employer (or the organization that issued your access) provides. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the App on your device.

The App is not an offline-only product: core features such as sign-in, attendance actions, requests, history, profile data, and in-app notifications depend on network access to your organization’s systems.

By using the App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Data Collection

Depending on how your organization configures the service and which features you use, the App may collect or process the following categories of information:

What the App does not do (based on the current application design): The App does not show third-party advertisements, does not use web browser cookies, and does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs for behavioral tracking in the shipped dependencies. Push notification code paths that rely on third-party push providers appear inactive in the current project configuration; work-related notices you see in the App are expected to come from data your organization exposes through its APIs when you use the App online.

Data Sharing

Data you submit or that the App retrieves is shared with the systems your employer operates or designates (for example, a human-resources or enterprise backend). The exact legal entity, data processor, and integrations depend on your organization’s configuration.

The App operator does not sell your personal information. Data is not shared for behavioral advertising through this App.

Where the operating system provides maps or place-name resolution for coordinates, limited location-related queries may be processed by Apple, Google, or other platform services according to their respective policies; the App uses such services only to support location features you trigger.

If your organization uses additional infrastructure (such as hosting providers, identity systems, or messaging services) outside this App, those arrangements are controlled by your employer and their contracts.

Ads & Third-Party Services

The App does not display third-party advertising and does not use ad tracking frameworks in the dependency set described for this build.

Third-party components and platform services that may be involved when you use the App include: the device operating system; secure storage and biometric APIs; camera, photo library, and file-picker APIs; network stack and certificate authorities; geolocation and geocoding services provided by the platform; image loading from URLs your organization supplies; and libraries used for UI, networking, and PDF generation. Each is used to implement App functionality, not to run ads.

Data Security

The App is intended to communicate with your organization’s servers over encrypted connections (for example, HTTPS) when those servers are configured accordingly. Authentication tokens and sensitive cached values are stored using platform secure storage where implemented.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should protect your device with a strong lock screen, keep credentials confidential, and follow your employer’s security policies. If you believe your account is compromised, notify your employer and change credentials as directed.

Children’s Privacy

NOVA HR is intended for use by adults in a workforce context (employees or authorized personnel). It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction for workforce apps). The App should not be used by children without appropriate employer authorization and supervision. If you believe a child’s information has been collected improperly through this App, contact us using the email below and your employer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy and the Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when revisions are published. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, your employer, or other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where applicable law requires a different process.

Terms & Conditions — Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of NOVA HR. The App is provided as a client for accessing services that your employer or affiliated organization makes available. If your employer issued separate written terms, those may apply in addition to these Terms where they do not conflict with mandatory law.

App Usage

You may use the App only if you have been granted access by your organization and only for legitimate workforce purposes. You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to bypass security controls, interfere with servers, scrape or overload systems without authorization, misrepresent attendance or requests, or access data you are not permitted to view.

Features such as camera, location, storage, and biometrics require your permission where the operating system prompts you. Denying a permission may limit or prevent related features.

The App may be updated through app stores; continued use may require installing compatible versions.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit, safeguarding login credentials, and compliance with your employer’s policies and applicable laws. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. You must not use the App on compromised devices if your employer prohibits doing so.

Employers and service operators may suspend or revoke access for policy or security reasons.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the licensors, developers, or distributors of the App be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the fullest extent still permitted.

App Ownership

NOVA HR, including its name, branding, software, and related materials, is owned by its rights holders and is protected by intellectual property laws. This document does not grant you any ownership rights. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms and your employer’s authorization.

Your organization’s data policies and agreements govern workforce data; the App is a tool for accessing and submitting that data.
