Data Security: While we implement standard security practices for local data storage, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your device's operating system updated
• Using the app only on trusted devices

Data Deletion: You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the application from your device. All visitor logs and settings will be permanently removed.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third parties. Since all data remains on your device, there is no mechanism for data sharing, cloud synchronization, or external data transmission.

5. Third-Party Services

Gatey does not integrate with third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data collection platforms. The app operates entirely offline and does not communicate with external servers.

The app uses the following open-source libraries for core functionality:

• Flutter framework (Google) - for app development
• Provider package - for state management
• SharedPreferences - for local data storage
• Intl package - for date and time formatting

These libraries are used solely for app functionality and do not collect or transmit user data.

6. Children's Privacy

Gatey is designed for use by building security personnel and property managers. The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe that a child has provided information through the app, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your information:

3. App Usage

Permitted Use: You may use Gatey solely for legitimate visitor logging and building security purposes. The App is intended for use by authorized security personnel, property managers, and building administrators.

Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the App to collect or store personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

4. User Responsibility

Data Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of visitor information entered into the App. We are not liable for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in data you provide.

Device Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device on which Gatey is installed. This includes:

• Using strong device passwords or biometric authentication
• Keeping your device's operating system updated
• Not sharing device access with unauthorized persons
• Reporting lost or stolen devices immediately

Compliance with Laws: You agree to use Gatey in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including but not limited to privacy laws, data protection regulations, and building security requirements.

5. Data Ownership and Control

All data entered into Gatey is stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership and control of this data. We do not claim ownership of any data you create or store using the App.

You are solely responsible for:

• Backing up your data if desired
• Ensuring data is not lost due to device failure or uninstallation
• Complying with data retention requirements applicable to your jurisdiction

6. App Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
• Release updates that may add, modify, or remove features
• Require you to update to the latest version to continue using the App

We are not obligated to provide maintenance, support, or updates to the App.

7. Limitation of Liability

No Warranty: Gatey is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dev3Solutions and its developers shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Security breaches or unauthorized access to your device
• Errors or omissions in visitor logs
• Any damages resulting from use or inability to use the App

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any), or $0 if the App was provided free of charge.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dev3Solutions and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Any data you enter or store in the App

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Dev3Solutions and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose. This license does not include the right to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes beyond its intended use
• Create derivative works based on the App

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

• All data stored locally on your device will remain on your device
• You may uninstall the App at any time

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dev3Solutions regarding the use of Gatey and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
