Welcome to Eventi ("we," "our," or "us"). Eventi is an events and announcements application designed for apartment building residents. This Privacy Policy and Terms of Service document explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data Collection

2.1 What We Do NOT Collect

Eventi does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, address)
• User accounts or login credentials
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Analytics or usage tracking data
• Cookies or tracking technologies
• Any data transmitted over the internet

2.2 What We Store Locally

Eventi stores the following information locally on your device using your device's local storage system (SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS):

• Events and Announcements: When you create events or announcements in admin mode, the app stores event titles, descriptions, dates, times, and optional image file paths locally on your device.
• App Preferences: Your admin mode setting and notification preferences are stored locally.
• Image References: If you attach images to events, the app stores file paths to images that remain on your device. The images themselves are not copied or moved by the app.

All stored data remains on your device and is never sent to external servers, cloud services, or third parties.

3. Use of Data

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Event and announcement data is used solely to display information within the app
• App preferences are used to customize your app experience
• No data is used for advertising, marketing, or analytics purposes
• No data is shared with third parties

4. Data Sharing

Eventi does not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties. All information remains on your device and is accessible only to you through the app.

5. Permissions

Eventi may request the following permissions:

• Photo Library Access (iOS) / Media Storage Access (Android): This permission is requested only if you choose to attach images to events. The app accesses your photo library solely to allow you to select images. Images are not copied, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere.

You can deny these permissions and still use all other features of the app.

6. Ads & Third-Party Services

Eventi does not display advertisements and does not integrate with third-party advertising networks, analytics services, or tracking technologies.

7. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Data security depends on your device's built-in security features
• We recommend using device passcodes, biometric authentication, and keeping your device's operating system updated
• If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data will be deleted
• No data breach risk exists from our servers because we do not operate any servers

8. Children's Privacy

Eventi does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since the app does not collect any personal information and operates entirely offline, there is no risk of collecting children's data. However, we recommend that children use the app under parental supervision.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. You are advised to review this document periodically for any changes.

10. Terms & Conditions

10.1 App Usage

By using Eventi, you agree to:

• Use the app in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the app to post illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Respect the privacy and rights of other users in your building community
• Use admin features responsibly when enabled

10.2 User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device
• Backing up your data if desired (the app does not provide cloud backup)
• Ensuring that content you create in admin mode is appropriate and lawful
• Managing your device permissions appropriately

10.3 Limitation of Liability

Eventi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Loss of data due to device malfunction, uninstallation, or operating system updates
• Any content created by users in admin mode
• Device compatibility issues
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app

10.4 App Ownership

Eventi, including its design, code, and functionality, is owned by the app developers. The app is provided for use by apartment building residents to manage local events and announcements.

10.5 Data Ownership

You own and control all data stored locally on your device by Eventi. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data through your device settings.
