DayTask does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The app operates entirely offline and all data remains on your device.

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Task Information: Task titles, descriptions, categories, priorities, dates, and completion status
• App Preferences: Theme settings (light/dark mode), default category, default priority, and notification preferences
• Statistics Data: Locally calculated statistics and analytics based on your tasks

This data is stored in a local database (SQLite) on your device and is never accessed by us or any third party.

2. Use of Data

All data stored by DayTask is used solely for the app's functionality:

• To display and manage your tasks
• To calculate and display statistics and analytics
• To remember your app preferences and settings
• To provide optional local notifications for task reminders (if enabled)

We do not have access to your data, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

3. Data Sharing

DayTask does not share any data with third parties. Since all data remains on your device, there is no data transmission, sharing, or selling of information.

4. Ads & Third-Party Services

DayTask does not display advertisements and does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app is completely free of ads and tracking.

5. Local Notifications

DayTask includes an optional local notifications feature that allows you to receive reminders for your tasks. This feature:

• Is completely optional and can be enabled or disabled in the app settings
• Operates entirely on your device using the device's local notification system
• Does not require internet connection
• Does not transmit any data to external servers

6. Data Security

Your data security is maintained through:

• Local storage on your device, protected by your device's security measures
• No network transmission, eliminating risks associated with data breaches
• No external server storage, ensuring your data cannot be accessed by unauthorized parties

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. If you uninstall the app, all local data will be deleted.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time through the app's settings menu using the "Reset All Data" option. This will permanently delete all tasks and preferences stored locally on your device.

8. Children's Privacy

DayTask does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the app does not collect any data externally and operates entirely offline, there are no privacy concerns regarding children's data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

Terms & Conditions

1. App Usage

By downloading, installing, or using DayTask, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. License to Use

DayTask is provided to you under a license for personal, non-commercial use. You may:

• Use the app on your personal devices
• Create and manage your personal tasks

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the app
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without authorization
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

3. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and the data stored on it
• Backing up your data if you wish to preserve it (the app does not provide cloud backup)
• Using the app in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Ensuring that any content you create using the app does not violate any third-party rights

4. Limitation of Liability

DayTask is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Your data will be preserved in all circumstances (including device failures, app uninstallation, or system updates)
• The app will meet your specific requirements

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.

5. Data Loss

Since DayTask stores all data locally on your device:

• Data may be lost if you uninstall the app, reset your device, or experience device failure
• We are not responsible for any data loss
• You are responsible for backing up your data if you wish to preserve it

6. App Ownership

DayTask, including all intellectual property rights, is owned by the developers. The app, its features, design, and code are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time, with or without notice. We are not obligated to provide updates, bug fixes, or new features.

8. Third-Party Components

DayTask uses open-source libraries and components that are subject to their respective licenses. These components are used in compliance with their licenses and do not affect your use of the app.

9. Termination

You may stop using DayTask at any time by uninstalling the app from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
